Services
Counselling that meets people where they are.
Yarra Counselling offers gentle, person‑centred support for children, teenagers, and adults, with flexible options to ensure therapy is accessible and aligned with each person’s needs and goals. Sessions are available in‑clinic, via telehealth, or through school outreach, making it easier for clients to engage in a way that feels safe and comfortable.
Counselling for Children and Teenagers
Young people often express themselves through play, creativity, and movement, so sessions are designed to meet them at their developmental level. Counselling provides a safe space to explore emotions, build coping skills, and work through challenges such as anxiety, overwhelm, trauma, school engagement, and social difficulties. The focus is always on helping children and teens feel understood, supported, and empowered.
Counselling for Adults
Adults may seek counselling for a wide range of reasons — stress, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or a desire for greater emotional regulation and wellbeing. Sessions offer a calm, supportive environment to explore experiences, develop insight, and build practical strategies for daily life using evidence-based treatments. The approach is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in each person’s strengths.
NDIS‑Aligned Support
Lauren has extensive experience supporting self‑managed and plan‑managed NDIS participants, ensuring therapy is accessible, flexible, and aligned with individual goals. Counselling can support emotional regulation, confidence, communication, social participation, daily functioning, and overall wellbeing. Clear communication, optional reporting, and a gentle, inclusive approach help participants feel safe and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
